Disaster Relief for Victims of LA Fires

When a fire devastates a community, people lose more than just their homes — they lose a sense of safety, stability, and belonging. That’s where we come in.

Disaster Relief for Victims of LA Fires is a program under A Sense of Home dedicated to helping individuals and families recover after losing everything to wildfires in Los Angeles County. We provide essential furnishings and home goods to help restore not only the physical home, but the hope and dignity needed to start again.

Who We Serve

This program is specifically designed to serve individuals and families:

  • Who have lost their homes due to wildfires in Los Angeles County
  • Who are moving into new housing (temporary or permanent) and lack the essentials to furnish it
  • Who need immediate assistance to restore stability and dignity

What We Provide

  • Furniture essentials (beds, sofas, dining tables, dressers)
  • Kitchenware and bath kits
  • Home goods like linens, towels, and cleaning supplies
  • Personalized touches to make each space feel truly like home

All of this is provided free of charge to qualified people who have been impacted by fires and are recovering in Los Angeles County.

ASOH installs 330 items in each home to ensure optimal well being and a fully functional home.

Each item is carefully selected and designed to create a unique and inspired home environment for each applicant. Based on ASOH’s seamless color coding system that makes for the fastest installation known to exist, volunteers create the homes in only 90 minutes. Donate your gently used items or please shop for our most needed items.
