When receiving such an alert it is best to respond right away to ensure your place and join other volunteers to Create a Home. All other Home Creations are sponsored thanks to an $8k donation by a team, whether it is a group of family and friends, colleagues, or a design team.

High Schools are the ideal place to establish empathy and generosity as a core value – we have all the information you’ll need on starting your own ASOH club and inviting your peers to join in changing other people’s lives for the better.

1 Kid To Another
For every child in a home ASOH provides much needed baby supplies, clothing, shoes, books, school supplies, toys, games, and puzzles . Please gather all the kids you know to create kits for a peer. You can find all the checklists and details here.
Our commitment to former foster youth doesn’t end after a home is created. Through ongoing Alumni Events, we build lasting community, offer continued resources, and create moments of joy, connection, and empowerment.
From career development workshops and wellness sessions to holiday gatherings and community meals, these events give ASOH alumni the opportunity to grow, give back, and stay supported.
Join us in designing and staging brand-new home environments for those who lost everything in the recent LA fires. In just 2.5 hours, you and a team of volunteers will thoughtfully select and arrange over 330 essential items—from furniture to décor—to transform three empty spaces into real homes.

This is hands-on, heart-driven work—and it makes a world of difference. Come with a generous spirit, leave with an unforgettable experience.
Gather your community and collect gently used or new items and create and donate complete kits. Please create as many kits as possible.
