Ken Grouf

Ken Grouf joined A Sense of Home in February 2025 as its second-ever Chief Executive Officer. Ken’s career has spanned across various organizations, companies, and industries including nonprofit, technology, and retail. His experience as a Founder, CEO, Board Chair, Executive, and Operator has allowed him to take on a unique approach to build and support continued organizational growth. He served on the founding teams of City Year New York, Do Something, and Kaboom! and was one of the first 100 employees at Yahoo! where he helped build the brand identity as the Director of Brand Management. Most recently he was the Chairman and Co-CEO of Kriser’s, an all-natural pet food and supplies retail chain, which he expanded to 100 stores nationwide. After successfully selling Kriser’s to TPG Growth, he helped build the infrastructure and new programs at The Change Reaction. His passion to improve the lives of others, impact their communities, and engage them in meaningful community service has allowed him to build sustainable programs across the country.
