Yolanda Elam

As Business Development Director at A Sense of Home, Yolanda Elam brings over 18 years of passionate advocacy for foster youth, rooted in her own lived experience. Her journey with the organization spans a decade, evolving from recipient to volunteer, to Program Director, and currently Business Development Director where she leverages her insight and commitment to uplift foster youth and marginalized communities. Yolanda holds a B.A. in Sociology from California State University, Long Beach, and has built a strong track record across leading nonprofits including Guardian Scholars, RaiseAChild, and St. Joseph Center. Her work is driven by a deep love for community engagement and unity and continues to drive meaningful impact through philanthropy, advocacy, strategic partnerships, and authentic storytelling.
