• Location: Youth’s Apartment within Los Angeles County or New York

Create Home Sets for Wildfire Survivors

Provide essential home furnishings to low income/underinsured Angelenos who lost everything in the fires. Design and stage living spaces, and help families load items into their moving trucks.

• Tax-Deductible Donation: $5,000
• # of Volunteers: 5-20
• Scheduling: 2.5-hours (10:00 am to 12:30 pm or 1:00 to 3:30 pm)
• Location: El Monte (within greater Los Angeles)

Sponsor & Experience a Warehouse Activity

Bring your group to our warehouse to help build furniture, create home kits, organize, and design living spaces for our foster youth and fire impacted communities.

• Tax-Deductible Donation: $100 per volunteer for groups larger than 10
• # of Volunteers: Great for teams of up to 25 volunteers (50 volunteers max.)
• Scheduling: 2 hours
• Location: ASOH’s Hawthorne or El Monte warehouses in Los Angeles

Sponsor & Experience an In-Office Activity

Bring ASOH’s team building volunteer experience to your office! ASOH will curate a meaningful experience tailored to your needs and led by our program participants and staff.

• Furniture Building: 5-10 volunteers (2-hour) = $1,500 donation
• Kit Building: 5-10 volunteers (1-hour) = $2,500 donation
• Bigger group? ASOH will create a custom activity with a suggested donation of $150 per volunteer
• Location: On-site at your office

Host a Lunch & Learn

Bring the inspiring mission of A Sense of Home directly to your team with a hosted Lunch & Learn. This interactive session introduces your employees to our unique model, shares impactful stories from the youth and disaster survivors we serve, and outlines immediate ways to get involved. It is the perfect, low-barrier first step to spark community engagement, inspire your workforce, and align your team culture with a meaningful cause. Avaible in-person or virtually.
